I would love to buy our engineers gaming laptops instead of mobile workstations (smaller, more powerful, and cheaper than their mobile workstation counterparts), but I can’t so long as they look like alien spaceships. The Verge asked this same question of some PC gaming equipment manufacturers: GPU-Z shows load in internal GPU for most applications/games. ASUS Thunderbolt 3 USB 3.0 External Graphics Card Dock Model ROG XG STATION 2. I’ve been wondering the same thing about why PC gaming equipment looks so ridiculous. MSI actually has a clean, simple logo, but instead they use a ridiculous looking Ferrari logo with a dragon on it on their gaming hardware – no thanks. Another brand that has some relatively clean designs is MSI – The GS63VR stands out in this regard. If their logo didn’t look so ridiculous, I might actually be willing to bring one of their computers in to a meeting where I want my coworkers to take me seriously. I believe the Rolls Royce brand your hoping for already exists – Razer.
